This summer has been a scorcher, affording plenty of opportunity to get out on the water. And while we’d love for the fine weather to continue, we all know that the British conditions mean they will not last forever.

Before we know it, autumn will be upon us. The good news for sailing lovers, paddling enthusiasts or anyone who loves to get out there, is that autumn is a really good time of year to be out doing what you love most. But there is always a need to be prepared for changeable conditions in order to stay comfortable and enjoy some time paddling, sailing or outdoor coastal walking.

We at Gill are proud to provide a strong selection of watersports and outdoor apparel to help you make the most of the opportunities afforded by the autumn weather.

Our new collection for A/W 2022 includes great multi-functional clothing and accessories that meet the needs of paddlers, water adventurers and outdoor explorers.

New colourways for our Aqua Parka

The Gill Aqua Parka is a leading choice when it comes to staying protected against the elements. With a waterproof, breathable and windproof shell, and 4-way stretch, the Aqua Parka also has a high loft thermal fleece lining to keep a wearer warm even when they are wet.

Given the changeable conditions that autumn brings, the Aqua Parka can come into its own with ease. And what’s more, we have added two new colourways to our range!

Joining our popular Graphite Aqua Parka, we are pleased to introduce new colourways available in Ash / Eggshell and Bluejay/ Dark Navy.

Verso Drysuit

Heading into the Autumn and Winter months doesn’t mean you have to stop getting out on the water! Embrace the cold, whilst staying bone dry in our new Verso Drysuit, ideal for sailing, SUP, kayaking or canoeing.

Constructed with our XPLORE+® 3-layer waterproof and breathable fabric and exclusive XPEL® water and stain repellent coating, offering all day long comfort and protection. The fully taped seams create a fully waterproof seal and the TIZIP® MasterSeal zips offers an easy back entry and handy relief opening at the front.

The grown-on hood means you can easily tuck it away while not in use, while the off-set AquaGuard zip means the chin guard will remain out of your way, so you can concentrate on doing what you do best.

Hydrophobe Thermal Top

The new Hydrophobe Thermal Tops are the perfect garment for the colder months, as the water and air temperatures drop, and you need that extra bit of thermal protection.

With a 4-way stretch and thermal protection technology, these baselayers offer a durable water repellent finish, so are ideal for wearing if you plan to get wet. They also offer 50+ UV protection for all-day protection against the sun if being worn on their own.

Portland and Shannon Jackets

Ideal for coastal walking, paddling or sailing, our Portland (men’s fit) and Shannon (women’s fit) jackets are available in black (men’s and women’s) and dark navy (men’s) colourways.

These jackets feature a water-repellent finish to fend off light showers and spray, and are made with RDS certified insulation. The stitch-free low profile baffle construction not only make them ideal for layering underneath waterproofs in colder weather but also prevents down migration. Super convenient, you can also pack it away into its internal chest pocket to save on valuable packing space.

Fitzroy Jacket

Ideal for Autumn / Winter wear, the Fitzroy Jacket offers a further insulated option for the colder months. Made from super light ‘down-feel’ synthetic loose fibre insulation with excellent warmth to weight ratio. Ideal for keeping you warm on chilly days.

Perfectly featured, you can easily store away your valuables in the multiple pockets.

The Fitzroy features a hood to offer protection against those (sometimes unpredictable) autumnal downpours, and is available in black, dark navy and ash colourways.

Cromarty and Fisher Fleeces

A fleece is a great addition to any wardrobe for the colder months and we have 2 new options for this season.

The Cromarty fleece is a highly-breathable option, with a high loft thermal fleece fabric and mesh drop lining. Ideal for those chillier days the autumn can bring. With a convenient full zip at the front and zippered pockets for storing valuables, and is available in Dark Navy and Ash colourways.

The Fisher fleece is made with a pill-resistant knit fleece fabric. Containing a branded stud closure placket at the neck and stretch binding at the collar and cuff for enhanced wearability. This garment is available in Iron and Dark Navy colourways.

Voyager Bag Range

We must also mention our  Voyager Bag range, which is ideal for paddling, sailing or anyone needing protection for their gear on the water.

All of the Voyager Bags are made with a puncture resistant waterproof PVC Tarpaulin fabric, and have stitch-free, high frequency welded seams for added protection.
